SSSH! It’s NOT a Secret!!!

Our very own Rachel Jones has accepted a call teaching 5th graders in Anchorage, Alaska at Anchor Lutheran School.

She will be leaving Santa Barbara on July 13, 2015. On Sunday, July 12th at 2nd service, Pastor will be offering special prayers “sending” Rachel off on her call.

Please join us in the Fireside Room afterwards for a light luncheon (with cake!) in honor of Rachel’s accomplishment. If you wish, you may bring a dish to share.

And, as we all know, the cost of living is extremely high in Anchorage so if you would like to help Rachel with $$$ or gift cards, here are a few of the stores readily available to her: Target, Kohl’s, Sears, JC Penney, Wal-Mart, Walgreens, Pier 1 Imports, Subway, Bed Bath & Beyond. Amazon does deliver to Anchorage as well.
