Nehemiah engraved in stone.

“Rebuilding the Ruins” is our new six-week sermon series from the Old Testament book of Nehemiah.

When the Exiles were released from Babylon to return to Jerusalem, they saw the devastation the Babylonian armies had left behind. The place was in ruins. What a depressing mess. It’s one thing to see the ruins. It’s another thing to start rebuilding what has been lost. What to do? The people didn’t do anything! Enter Nehemiah. His message to those living in the crumbled rubble? It’s time to rebuild the ruins!

May 23  “Lord, Send Me!” (Nehemiah 1:1–11)

May 30  “Let us Arise and Build!” (Nehemiah 2:1–20)

June 6    “It Takes a Team” (Nehemiah 3:1–32)

June 13  “Opposition from the Outside” (Nehemiah 4:1–23)

June 20  “Resolving Conflicts” (Nehemiah 5:1–19)

June 27  “I’m Doing a Great Work and I Cannot Come Down!” (Nehemiah 6:1–15)
