People are always searching for something. We search for the car keys. We search for our car in a parking lot. We search for the right outfit, the right diet, the right boyfriend, the right investment— the list goes on and on and on. People are also searching for something more substantial. King Solomon was on the search for something more substantial, too. That’s where the Old Testament Book of Ecclesiastes comes in.

Our new seven-week sermon series is called, “Chasing the Wind: Solomon’s Search for....” Come along each week as we join Solomon in the search for the substantive things in life.

July 4             “Solomon’s Search for Wisdom” (Ecclesiastes 1:1-11)

July 11           “Solomon’s Search for Satisfaction” (Ecclesiastes 2:1–11)

July 18           “Solomon’s Search for Perspective” (Ecclesiastes 3:1–14)

July 25           “Solomon’s Search for Friendship” (Ecclesiastes 4:7–12)

August 1       “Solomon’s Search for Contentment” (Ecclesiastes 5:8–16)

August 8       “Solomon’s Search for Fulfillment” (Ecclesiastes 9:7-10)

August 15     “Solomon’s Search for a Plan” (Ecclesiastes 12:1–7)
