It's time to start thinking about the Cookie Walk again! What is the Cookie Walk? It's where we sell your homemade cookies, and the money raised supports our preschool. The Fireside Room is filled with the most delightful smell of lovingly homemade cookies and treats. As people walk through the door they are handed a bakery box to fill with the cookies of their choice. The filled box is weighed and the cookies are sold by the pound. You can also enjoy coffee or hot cider along with the company and atmosphere of Christmas time.
The Cookie Walk is on Saturday, December 9th, from 8:00 A.M. - 11:00 A.M. or until we run out.
We need your help:
First, let others know about this event. We have postcards available for you to hand to friensa or post at your place of work.
Most importantly, we need cookies! We are asking you to help us out by baking 6 dozen or more Christmas cookies. Make your special family Christmas favorites. No store-bought cookies, please. We realize some of you just don't bake anymore so just come and support us by buying some delicious treats on December 9th. If you have a nice platter on which to place the cookies, that would be great. Just be sure to label it so we can get it back to you. If not, we can plate them for you the day before.
Please bring your homemade cookies to the Fireside Room or the preschool on Friday, December 8th, sometime between 8:30 A.M. and 5:00 P.M.
